For my first communion, I received a book about Sardinia as a gift. The first page of the book immediately struck me, telling the story of the sandal, which later became the name Sandalia and then Sardegna.

Whenever I had some money to spare, I would buy a book about my beautiful island. It didn’t matter if it was about archaeology, Nuragic history, geography, or flora and fauna – anything about Sardinia was fine by me!

At 21, I was fortunate to start my career at an automotive lubricants company, which allowed me to explore every corner and secret spot of the region.

I still remember the incredulous looks on customers’ faces when I asked them what beautiful places there were to see in their area and if they would be willing to accompany me, strictly on Saturdays or Sundays.

I still cherish a series of notebooks where I would jot down and draw the roads we took to reach our destinations. Back then, there were no GPS or maps!

Much time has passed, but even today, whenever I hear about a unique and secret destination, I eagerly set out to find it.

From this deep passion, Sardegna Segreta was born in 2013 with the goal of sharing with our guests the knowledge, passion, and love that binds us to this splendid region called Sardinia.

The uniqueness of this island is that it always offers the opportunity to discover new itineraries, breathtaking landscapes, beaches with crystal-clear waters, and mountains that seem inaccessible at first sight. Every year, many people visit Sardinia, but not this Sardinia. They have seen the island, but they haven’t lived it, felt it, and savored it.
